Late last year I finally broke down and got a pair of stabilizer bars for my B7610 that Mark Hodge manufactures. I read a lot about the quality of his work and how easy it was to use them when changing implements. Pat's quick hitch had simplified this process so I wanted just the final bit of ease that I hoped the sway bar replacements would bring. Tracking down Mark is kind of hard as he doesn't advertise and is really not looking for the work.
Finally I was able to use the search feature on here and got his email. An email was fired off to him thinking I would never hear from him. Lo and behold within hours this very busy man was back to me and with the exchange of a few messages I had my bars on order. He is such a gentleman that he would not take money until I had the bars in my hands, tried them out, and was happy.
I could not be more happy. The quality of manufacture and care in his work is obvious with the welds and bends being smooth, matched, and I hate to use the word; but elegant. The ease of use of these things is just without description. NOTHING TO IT. Within just a few changes of adjustments I had setting them up so that it takes just seconds, not minutes with a lot of back breaking bending over.............
The other day, after maybe 500 hours of use, one of the pins that holds the bars to the tractor itself broke while I was PUSHING backward into a bale of hay. No big deal as I "MICKEY MOUSED" the repair with a bolt. Off went an email to Mark about the problem. Within an hour I had a response from him with a pledge that he would have the "re-engineered" part back to me within days....NOT WEEKS. So....I JUST HAVE TO COPLIMENT MARK HODGE. He conducts business in a manner that made American industry and manufacturing a success. Sadly, for America those days are possibly over; but for US, WE HAVE MARK AND THOSE DAYS ARE STILL HERE.... God bless.....Dennis
