Sorry for the 'way' off topic.. but there are too many resourcefull people here not to run this by... and I know there are some other CE's around here..
At the GC where i work we are looking to get another lot leveling lasor. ( one of those that sets on a tripod and spins.. and you put your grade sticks around the job and see if you are grade, or need cut/fill. The cheapy non-comercial jobs are about 50$ and only project a laser about 50' I'm looking for a comercial one.. say in the 600' projection range.
Our guys keep leaving them out in the rain, and I just got done fixing one 2 weeks ago.. and now it's back to be fixed again.. when I opened the case.. water poured out.. go figure.
Normally we buy these from a local survey company.. but they are getting sky high. Any other good web resources for survey equipment??
