I have a commercial Toro ZTR, never had a bit of trouble but it's always been really hard to start when cold and it's getting worse. It has a 25hp kawasaki FH721D engine. Over a few years I've replaced plugs, wires, and fuel pump (it was leaking slightly). It's started hard since it was new but never made it back to the dealer when it was under warranty because it wasn't as bad. It doesn't matter much what the temp outside is, it starts very hard even when it's 90 degrees out. Starts great once it's been run for a few minutes.
