Cockshutt 20 Distributor

Need info for replacement part for distributor and rotar button.
Canadian supplier only.

Ok, I've contacted a few friends, and this is what we have come up with colectively:

Here are some Neihoff #s for Cockshutt 20 with Continental F 124 or F 140 with Dist No. IAD-6004-1C. Points # AL 5-23 HV or AL 5-23M,condenser # AL34, rotor #AL 81, and cap # AL 73.

Is the distributor a Prestolite or Autolite with an id tag on it? (Or other make with stamped numbers?)
If you know the distributor make and have some numbers, I can look it up in the Standard Ignition Ag and Industrial cross reference, and get you Standard #'s that many auto supplies can get overnight, or you can cross those numbers at NAPA, or wherever

May also want to contact Phil Heisey in PA...he's usually on the cockshutt board or the Lesser Known Classics board and carries a lot of parts for the Co-Op/Cockshutt tractors.

...see I should have checked with you first! I am going to investigate the numbers today. I did replace the original autolite. And NO I did not toss it and NO I did not toss the box the new one came in. But between the two buildings anf the 'umpteen' hiding place I be **** if I could fine the stuff the other night. I did fine the old plugs and wires but no cap etc.

Oh, and I did find alot of other things too!

Believe me it is organized...on a good day!

Napa came through.

Napa came through with the part - AL69 rotor button.
Tight fit...but fire up in cold no problem.

They had a good cross reference catalogue there for cockshutt stuff.
The guy even visited the plant in Chigago were the continental engines were made.

Hi...My brother and I are looking for a repacement gear that drives the oil pump and distributor on a model 20 cocksutt.
Any information on aquring one will be greatly appricated.
