Need some help. I have an 08 MF 573 cab tractor. Went up to farm to get some mowing done and encountered an issue. Pushed in clutch and went to 2 low. The shuttle shift would not lock into forward or reverse. Upon pushing a little harder I could feel the tractor trying to move forward and reverse but still would not engage in either. It’s like the clutch isn’t disengaging the friction plate and recognizing neutral. I did manage to jam it into gear and tractor moved as it should. However, when stepping on clutch to stop… tractor kept going. Had to pull it back pretty hard into neutral. When tractor is off the I can engage shuttle and all gears. Anyone encountered this issue before?
