ANY HELP IN THIS AREA WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I AM GETTING READY TO CRACK MY TRACTOR TO REPAIR/REPLACE THE NONWORKING CLUTCH. THE TRACTOR IS A 82 MODEL WITH LOADER. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY IDEAS OR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.......RANDY

i have replaced the clutch on my l245dt it wasnt a real big deal. the l245dt are real easy to work on
didnt even use splint tool to align cluth just eyebaled it real well( I know o lot of ppl on hear will be shaking there head at that statment) replaced it at leats 2 to 3 years ago.

Just put a pilot bearing in a 5000 ford the other day, eyeballed the clutch as well , worked out fine.
No head shaking from here :)

If you don't have the service manual I'd invest in one. I'm considering the same operation with my L275, which I believe is quite similar.
