They aren't really competitors. The RR for me is more sueful since I use it for leveling dirt for finish grade, back dragging to round up rocks, twigs and such. The toothbar is more for digging and popping up rocks. The RR will probably pop up surface rocks better than toothbar since teeth are sharper and closer together on RR. Can't dig with RR or I won't. Sold my toothbar after having it for a year and it being more hinderance than help. Traded tractors so I had to order another RR to fit tractors I have. Can't see going without a FEL, Boxblade and RR and of course a mowing deck.
