Clicking Noise from Right Rear Wheel Area

On the Yanmar YM276D a slight clicking noise occurs every ten or fifteen feet of travel on the right side. Do any of you folks have any idea what that might be?

Could be loose wheel bolts.
First thing I would check with those symptoms.

I had forgotten until reading this that my YM240 squeaked as it rolled along. Lose lug nuts, one of many 'deferred maintenance' issues I corrected before putting it in service.

And the YM186D has adjustable width rear hubs/axles, they will click if the tensioning bolt isn't torqued. These need to be checked every 100 hours or so. (But probably not relevant for a YM276D).

Unlikely but could that be a tubeless tire with debris inside?

Just for yucks and the experience

Remove the wheel, then the hub and look at the bare axle. The parts are not "that heavy" , Use common sense along with good wrenches and good jack stands.

It's "cheap education" if you do it right.!

That's likely it and tighten ASAP before you crack the wheel.

Hmmm. Maybe I should go check.

Jack up and block the rear of the tractor and then use a pry bar to move/lift the tire.
