I did not reinforce it. I just had it bent back to it's original shape with a press. They didn't even need to heat it. I will just be more careful in the future. I like plowing in reverse so I don't have to back over the pile of snow I just pulled up to the end of the driveway. Just makes things a little easier for me.

I'm not sure I will even need to bend mine back, it's pretty minor, but drives me crazy to look at it. It still works fine and I'm just going to do the same thing and slow down with it. I haven't taken a real close look at the lower arms and how they are attached, but it appears to just be a pin mechanism with some cotter pins? Is it a big deal to get those off or do you have to remove one of the wheels to get at the whole assembly? John

I have a BX 24. The hitch is made to be removed easily so the backhoe can be installed. It only takes the removal of a few clips and a pin.
