Clearance Lights?

Can anyone point me towards information on when clearance lights are required?
I just built a Harbor Freight utility trailer, and added a 32" tall covered box to it. Do I need to have clearance lights at the top corners?

Some of the lighting manufacturers also have pictures showing placement for various trailers, but I didn't search far enough to find them.
