Does the Classifieds use a different password to log in?

I couldn't sign in to anything beyond my home page yesterday, and today I still can't log into the classifieds section. I sent a request for my password, but have not received a reply as yet. I am sending an outside e-mail now.

Since I am logged on to the TractorByNet site, why does it ask for user name and password. Do you have to register with another user name and password? The system does not reply with lost password.

You do (or at least I do) have to login again to get into the CLASSIFIEDS but you use the same username and password. I just checked and it's working for me.

I've only clicked that tab a few times, just tried it now and it opened right up didn't have to log in to browse around there, I did just log onto TBN a couple minutes before so maybe it was still current or "fresh"?

I know when I'm taking to long to respond to a thread I'll get logged off and have to log back in to submit reply.

I found out that you have to register with a user name/password, or register the one you regularly use to sign in, or you can use another user name and password, but you still have to register. You can look as a guest, but can not post a listing. . Just because you are logged to TractorByNet, doesn't mean that you are registered in the Classified section.

Yep, like J.J. said you can browse the classifieds, but you're probably shown as a "Guest" until the login over there.

FYI the classifieds will be changing very soon. We're going to a buy/sell/trade forum so we can prevent scams and spams a little easier.

After I figured out everything. I decided to use the same password that I log in to TractorByNet. That way, I don't have to remember to many passwords.
:You can use a diferent password if you want.
