I cannot find the thread. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Maybe someone else can?
A Kubota tractor was taken down a steep slope. The owner could not get it out for several weeks because the HST would not work. He finally got it out after many suggestion from fellow TBNer's.

It would sure be nice if Glenn would pop back in from time to time. He is a very funny man.

My favorite post was a response from Bird to a new Grandpa who was enertaining the idea of building something for his new grandson to ride on the fender of the tractor so that he could go with him to plow snow. Several posts preceeded Bird's severely critical of this idea. Bird's response went something like this:
"We will sure understand if your daughter doesn't want to visit anymore until spring"

(Always a gentleman)

When I first joined, there was an ongoing thread with scads of pictures of big machinery in trouble. Sunk machine where all you could see was the top of the hoe, a D9 half way down a cliff, loads of tractors stuck in the mud, etc. I can't find it, but it kept me laughing (in a nervous sort of way) for some time. I learned a lot looking at other peoples mistakes as well. It was a very good thread.

Yes, that was my first post, but it was by no means a classic.

That was your first post? I remember seeing that. I'm glad you posted it. I've always wondered what those tire sizes meant. Of course, by now I have forgotten it all! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
