I hav a plow VERY simuliar to that particular blade on my Yamaha Rhino The 6 ft version. We get alot of snow in the Md./Wv mountains where I live and I was also concerned about the height of the blade. But since i bought it for the light snowfalls I wasn't too worried about it. ( I use a 3pt blower and backhoe for the big snows )
Well, I have used my Rhino for plowing ever since. I will plow deep 18" snow without a problem because the shape of the plow doesn't allow it to go over the top. It just rolls the snow over until it goes off to the side.
If you are interested i would not hesitate to use it in the deepest of snows. It works great. I think you would only be limited by the traction of your tractor.
The price is pretty high though. Why not just buy the blade from Cycle country and weld up a mounting system to the FEL ?
