Saw this on Craigslist. Looks pretty good from what a guy can tell from the picutres. Not a bad price either. Wish it was closer. Anyone coming to Nebraska from that area?

Interesting it is listed as a manual transmission. I guess technically it is but most times they are listed as power shift.

Yea I found that odd. I'm not to smart on them, I didn't think they made a 186d without PS. It looks like new paint on it.

I believe all 186's are power shift. The 186 is a close cousin to the grey 1510.

Not sure just where Central Nebraska is but Google maps indicates it is around 1119 miles from Ringgold Ga. to North Platte Ne. Adding in my 829 miles to Ringgold and 829 miles from North Platte to Gilmer Tx. it would be 2640 miles. Figuring 10 miles per gallon and $3.15 per gallon and 4 motel nights i guess I could bring it to you for $1231.60. This is meant to be a funny, hope everyone takes it that way.

Well that isn't probably far off what it would cost. I gotten estimate on one from somewhere a little farther away, I think it was 1200 miles one way and they quoted me $1500.00. I have heard if your in no hurry and put it out to bid on Uship you can get it cheaper. North platte is about 100 miles west of me.

That's a very fair price. With the repaint and flawless trim it looks much nicer than the YM186D that I just bought in "original" (dinged up) condition.

Mine came with similar claimed low hours, OEM loader and scraper box like this CL one, and has one more option, power steering. Asking price was $4500 then in a couple of days dropped to $3500 for a quick sale - I jumped on it.

I wouldn't buy anything 30 years old before checking it out in person. But this one looks likely to be a good buy.

Manual transmission - no. It would be a YM180D in that case. I hope he doesn't mean the Powershift is broken.

Yea it looked pretty good. I called the guy and left a voice mail the first day I saw it. Then I never heard from him so I called back couple days later and he said it was sold. I wonder when he says manual transmission if it was a 186d or a 180d like California mentioned.
