My apologies Gerard - buying a tractor sure didn't help my typing /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks to all regarding load security. Have to admit, when I took those pics, I was one whupped puppy - just happy to have them all inside.

Yesterday, I spent more time adding more rachet straps and nailing chocks around the tires. I also lowered the stabilizers to point where they exerted pressure against the BB and the tiller. Perhaps that is good only as long as hydraulic maintains pressure? I figured it couldn't hurt.

Today I finished packing in rest of items for this load. Guess I'll see how good I did in late April when delivered in Hawaii.

John, I didn't save you room /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif, guess you'll just have to come to house later.

That's okay. I'd probably get too hungry before you'd get there anyway! Sounds like you got it well secured now. I hope everything makes it there with no problems.
Just because you have it packed doesn't mean you should take a break from TBN either! John

Definitely canNOT take a break from TBN, John. How else am I gonna learn about all the neat tricks? I even packed all my manuals.

I did have a "strange" experience yesterday just after we finished loading. I had taken out my boom pole and didn't find a good place for it (will go in next load). I left it next to curb, end of drive and took my 2 helpers home. Luckily, my wife decided to stay outside because as I drove up, a guy got out of his pickup (stranger, never seen before) and asked, "Are you throwing that away?" Geez

Of course I said no, it was my boom pole, to which he replied, "Sure would work great on my 8N." I'm sure if I'd been a minute later and wife inside, I'd be minus one boom pole. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Yup. It becomes public property if it's by the curb. Glad to hear you still have it.

You're right David, it probably would have been gone even if it had been deeper into your yard! A friend who has a lawncare business was cutting his neighbor's yard a few weeks ago when a man drove up, got out, waved at my friend, and proceeded to pick up his $300 gas blower which was sitting near the fence. Before my friend could even react, the guy drove off. My friend jumped in his truck, which had his trailer on it, but couldn't even begin to catch up.
It happened so fast, and he thought the guy was going to come over and talk to him about a job maybe.
The wave is what really got him! John

Well, I think the wave was...."Ha, Ha, Ha. You think I'm being a really friendly person, but I'm REALLY just ripping you off!" kind of wave. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I'm with you Gary, the arrogance of the wave said that well. John

DOH! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

When I read your other reply, it just didn't come across that way to me. Wouldn't it be neat if somehow we could make our typed words look the way we want them to sound!? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Sorry Gerard!
