Update: Got the missing parts from SPEECO. Good service!
Finished the assembly of the 12 in Auger/Model#65 PHD and gave it a go. The wife stood by and out of harm's way. Bored a clean 40" hole in about a minute! Man that digger is powerful and my high desert soil is no match for it.

Now we have some work to do-but it started snowing and blowing again on the first day of Spring 2011. Oh well. In like a Lion-Out like a lamb they say..
