Kioti CK30 HST, dual remotes, FEL.
Here's what I've got started, it's just tacked together for now. I need to check out how it will fold down with the main bar laying flat before I sew it up.

Looking good so far. How are you attaching it to the ROPS? Your not welding it, are you?

Yep, I build cages for Jeeps, race chassis that I've flipped end over end, so I've bet my life on my welding a few times.

That looks pretty good - you must have a tubing bender too. From the pictures it looks like you have welded the upper mounts directly to the ROPS - but the lower mounts have the rollcage sidebar quick connects on them - why make the lower mounts disconnectable when the upper mount is welded right on? Keep the pictures coming - I have been thinking of something like this for my BX23 and you are giving me some ideas.....

That's what I was thinking too Jim, but now my guess is that it is just resting against the ROPS...

RedRocker.

I think you will like having something over your head if you are working around trees where dead limbs might fall. For me I especially like having something there, just in case the tractor would tip on a slope, while I was next to a tree that was going to slide down MY side of the ROPS... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I know I am much more comfortable among the trees on my back slope since I built my light duty FOPS... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Looks good, but the jeep looks better.

The top has a clevis like the bottom, when I pivot the Rops back after disconnecting the front, it should pivot down enough to clear the garage door. I'll put a stop on there somewhere to keep it off the fenders.
Henro, my place is all Oak trees and rocks, I've already experienced the small stuff falling on me, thought I'd avoid some of the larger stuff. Here's another view of the Jeep.

It even came to rest on the hand rails, just like I planned it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I need to spring for some more 1.75 tubing, I want to add at least one more bar front to rear. Then some light mounts, maybe a radio, plasma TV and Bose sound system. OK, I lied about the TV and Bose. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Thanks for the kind words, here's the latest. Waiting for the lights to get here, then it's an aluminum top to keep the little stuff off my head.

That's really coming along. Everything seems to just flow. Once again, nice work.

RED,

I have been following your progress. You definately know what you are doing, but what gives. Are you planning on taking your "bota" rock crawling or what!? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif If you can't get over the rocks; just move them with the FEL /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

LOL, I love rock crawling. I've got a lot of rock and a lot of Oak with a lot of deadfall. So I'll be in the woods alot and want to keep any airborne debree off my head. I already dumped a log on a brush pile and it bounced off and smacked the hood, maybe I'm over reacting....... Nah!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
