The plow requires traction (weight), the bushhog requires HP.

The CK27 is a rather heavy tractor for its power.

According to the PTO HP, a 4' cutter would be perfect, but wont cover your tracks. So I'd get a 5', you pay just have to slow down in places.

As to the plow, you have a pretty heafty tractor. It will probabally pull a large sincle bottom, like a 16", or two smaller bottom plows, like a 10 or 12.

I'll let other who actually have a ck27 chime in now.

I have the Bobcat version of the 27. I use a 4' cutter only becasue that is what I had with the older, smaller Kubota and often find myself going too fast with it. If I had more land to mow I would trade it for a 5' or 6'.

I don't plow but was looking for 1 before I came across a good buy on a tiller, was thinking of single 16" or 2 12". I think a 2 bottom 14" is a little big but depends on the soil type.

I have a 5 ft. bushhog on my ck25 and it works real well.

I use a 10" double-bottom plow with mine. Pulls it great.

This summer I used a 5' bush hog and it did very with it. It did bog down some in really thick, tall stuff. But, in the machine's defense, I had the bush hog set way low. Simply raising the 3ph a little when it bogs fixes it. I mowed a lot of saplings and tougher stuff with ease. Don't fear a 5-footer. 6' would be pushing it.

Ck25hst with a 2-bottom plow works fine on LOW (fast enough to turn the heavy clay soil/grass). 5' finishing mower also works like a charm!

My CK27HST pulls a single bottom plow without any effort in low. Ditto for a 5' box blade with all rippers set low. If bog down just raise the 3pt a bit and it will go on.
