CK20S vs SC2410

I was comeing through Crossville, TN today and stopped by the Kioti dealer to get a hydraulic filter. They had both the CK20S and the SC2410 setting beside each other. They both are nice machines. What do you think. I think they both have their place.

Your right. The SC looks to be direct competition to the Kubota BX series and other sub-compacts. It looks heavier than the JD.

First up close photos I've seen of the SC. It's beefier than I thought. Might have to rethink future plans.

The SC2410 is defiantly not a lawn mower. It seems to be a hybrid. My definition of a true tractor is when the engine and transmission make up the super structure of the tractor. Most lawn mowers have a steel box frame either stamped or welded. The SC2410 is in the middle with a frame that goes from the front and mounts to the transmission. The engine of the SC sets in the frame, so this is why I call it a hybrid. There is nothing wrong with the set up, but this why I say, the CK series is the smallest tractor Kioti makes in the truest sense of a tractor. According to the Specs, the CS will be able to get in and out of smaller places and it will fit the niche between a small acreage farm and large yard. The CK20S has the ground clearance needed to bush hog and muck around a small acreage farm.

I have a CK20 & have been very pleased with it's performance. This is the first I've seen side by side photos & am impressed. The SC2410 is larger than I thought! Thanks for taking & sharing these pics.

How long have you had your CK20S? I have 33 hours on my now, and I have worked it hard. It seems to be a tough little tractor. I hope it holds up as well as my 30 year old Yanmar.

I've had mine just under two years. So far it's moved over 250 ton of fill, dragged many logs, planted over 50 trees/shrubs (w/post hole digger on back), & recently got a 54" & 60" finish mower. I've cut with both & pull the 60" just fine. The CK20 is a tough little tractor & I'm sure with proper maintenance it will hold up well.

I have the CK20HST for a year and a bit now, 58 hours.
Even though I only have 2.5 acres, a SCUT wouldn't work for me as I have quite a slope/hills on part of my property...

I have dug a pond (with the front bucket), moved a bunch of large rocks (from my neighbour up the hill), cut grass/weeds, deep tilled garden, moved manure, harrowed field, shoveled snow on our long driveway.

It's my first (and hopefully my last) tractor.

It's in for the first service now and I'm getting the Sunshade put on as well.
