I was comeing through Crossville, TN today and stopped by the Kioti dealer to get a hydraulic filter. They had both the CK20S and the SC2410 setting beside each other. They both are nice machines. What do you think. I think they both have their place.

of course they have their place, Kioti could not suggest something against the BX series of Kubota, now they can!

Your right. The SC looks to be direct competition to the Kubota BX series and other sub-compacts. It looks heavier than the JD.

First up close photos I've seen of the SC. It's beefier than I thought. Might have to rethink future plans.

The SC2410 is defiantly not a lawn mower. It seems to be a hybrid. My definition of a true tractor is when the engine and transmission make up the super structure of the tractor. Most lawn mowers have a steel box frame either stamped or welded. The SC2410 is in the middle with a frame that goes from the front and mounts to the transmission. The engine of the SC sets in the frame, so this is why I call it a hybrid. There is nothing wrong with the set up, but this why I say, the CK series is the smallest tractor Kioti makes in the truest sense of a tractor. According to the Specs, the CS will be able to get in and out of smaller places and it will fit the niche between a small acreage farm and large yard. The CK20S has the ground clearance needed to bush hog and muck around a small acreage farm.

I have a CK20 & have been very pleased with it's performance. This is the first I've seen side by side photos & am impressed. The SC2410 is larger than I thought! Thanks for taking & sharing these pics.

How long have you had your CK20S? I have 33 hours on my now, and I have worked it hard. It seems to be a tough little tractor. I hope it holds up as well as my 30 year old Yanmar.

I've had mine just under two years. So far it's moved over 250 ton of fill, dragged many logs, planted over 50 trees/shrubs (w/post hole digger on back), & recently got a 54" & 60" finish mower. I've cut with both & pull the 60" just fine. The CK20 is a tough little tractor & I'm sure with proper maintenance it will hold up well.

I have the CK20HST for a year and a bit now, 58 hours.
Even though I only have 2.5 acres, a SCUT wouldn't work for me as I have quite a slope/hills on part of my property...

I have dug a pond (with the front bucket), moved a bunch of large rocks (from my neighbour up the hill), cut grass/weeds, deep tilled garden, moved manure, harrowed field, shoveled snow on our long driveway.

It's my first (and hopefully my last) tractor.

It's in for the first service now and I'm getting the Sunshade put on as well.

Edit: She's back!

I bought mine new about 5 weeks ago, and I now have 37 hours on it. I just find new things to do with it every day. It is a true work multiplier. I live on the side of a small mountain where I am digging out a place for a 30x40 shop. The tractor seems rock solid. I did get the manual. Old habits die hard. Most people love the hydrostatic, but love the clunky manual. I am pretty sure it will still be clunky in 20 years, but as long as it clunks, I am good.

I have thought about putting a top on mine also. I have a lot of woods, and I am afraid I will bust it up. How well is it made?

Seems to be well made - but it is ABS, so I'm sure a large branch could do some damage - but better it than your noggin!

For me it was more to keep some of the sun off of me and other weather (snow/rain).

I've had my ck20hst for a little over a year now with 80plus hours and love it. for me there were a few advantages of the ck: the lift arms are longer and can lift a little higher, the tractor weighs a little more especially with loaded tires, the ck has side brakes as well if you need them and the biggest is the check chains on the lift arms, sc is from the inside making it a pain to hook up certain implements, where as the ck is from the outside so it will open out around the pins. I'm sure the SC will do just as much work and is great to own, but I still love my current tractor

After looking at them up close, I think the CK can do heavier work due to out weighing the CS by over 1400lbs, but the CS will make a great around the house, garden, small acreage tractor. It would have most likely done everything I wanted to do other than pulling logs. Some of the logs I pull are close to 1000lbs.

The only gripe I have with my CK20HST is that it is slow. But it is a tough little beast.

I have 168 hours on it and use it more than I ever thought I would.

My wife got off of it a couple weeks ago, after moving some heavy pots, and said, "you know, this tractor was a good investment".

It has impressed her and proven to be useful to her.

My wife was the same way. She thought I was buying a toy. Now she has seen the value. She is now finding things to do with it as long as I am driving! She will not use it because of the steep grades. It is a little goat.

Have had the CK20HST for a few months, bought it used it was rode hard and put up wet by the previous owner, but still amazed at the little tractor. Does what ever I need, very pleased with it.
Did let the wife operate it once and she loved it, grandchildren love to ride on it too.

I have a 2007 ck20hst with a mid PTO. Any one know if the belly mower from the sc2410 would fit my ck20. I have a finish mower but would like a belly mower to cut around trees ect. Love the ck20 and would like to get rid of rider mower (getting old) and just use the tractor. Also anyplace I can get a mew headlight cover. don't need the whole assembly just the lens cover. had a run in with a stump
