How do you use the rear snow blower with the back window on? Is the chute controlled remotely? On my Meteor, I have to manually crank the chute around, so I would need the back window off or wide open.

My chute is manually operated as well. Luckily, my driveway is pretty straight so I turn it to one side and make a long pass. Then get out and turn it to the other side, turn the tractor around and make another long pass back down the drive. About 4-5 passes depending on snow depth and it's done. One of these days, I would love to setup a chute adjuster via an electric motor or hydraulically driven from the rear remotes.

Yes, the rear remotes are just hanging there in the winter so someone should be able to design a chute rotator that works off of them. Good project for Michigan Iron. Probably end up with a $500 solution to a $2 problem but hey getting in and out of the tractor in the winter is no fun. Maybe just take the back window out.

Lucky for me, i don't get off the tractor to operate the chute:D

KiotiKarl, just curious, but what did that system cost??? It is neat, no doubt about it.
I do not need the hydraulics to maneuver for distance, but being able to rotate the chute from the cab would be nice. Is that part electric rather than hydraulic?

All the new KIOTI Kabs will have the option of rear wiper. And witht he KIOTI Kab you can just open the rear window to adjust you manual chute if the crank is long enough.:D And yes it is more expensive than the Sims, but the fit, finish of the exterior and interior are far greater than any other brand out there. Price is always a factor with everything, if it wasn't you would have bought a cab tractor when you were first buying, I myself love the KIOTI Kab and it is one of the most quietest and spacious with the factory finish and not some back yard bill look.

The chute turns via a hydraulic ''orbit'' motor, and a double acting cylindre for the chute distance. Works off the rear remotes. The hydraulic vs manual operation was 400$cdn when i purchased the blower. I don't know if the turn can be a later add on. There are cheaper hydraulic turn model which work with a cable/cylindre combo. I will post better pics later.

That is a sweet cab. Can it be added after purchase?? Would it work on the equal bobcat tractor??(122.)
