CK20 FEL Float questions

I can't plow snow with my DK45 in float position. It will go fine until I get a load of snow in front of the blade and then the front wheels get lifted. I now hold the plow just off or lightly touching the ground.

I tried using float from a higher position as instructed and it works perfect! Thanks for the info.
