CK 30 stiff 4WD shifter

Hello Guys, the 4wd is somehow syncronized with the steering . The best thing to do is spray your linkages underneath the tractor with lithium grease, you can buy it at about any automotive store. All i do is stop the tractor, apply the brake while gently pulling up on the 4wd knob and turning the steering wheel all the way to the RIGHT, it will fall into gear easily very time, no need to lift the front end with the loader. This info was given to me by a Kioti tech and it works every time.. Matt

In 2008, it was all the way to the LEFT. So, it works all the way to the right also? I have not checked turning the wheel all the way to the right.

Well then, I do believe we have just established that sync'ing of the gears works when turning the steering wheel all the way to the right -or- all the way to the left, to engage the FWD. You heard it here first!
