CK 30 OIL CHANGE 100 HRS.

Am at 95 hrs on my ck30 the book says I dont have to replace the oil filter at 100 hrs. Any ideas about this out there, by the way am going to use DELO 400 15/40. Which brings me another question at 50 hrs service I use a 15/30 oil I got at tractor supply ,was that ok and is the Delo 400 a better way to go.

I always change the oil filter when I change the oil, it is really cheap. I also have used delo400 15-40 since change #1. The manual actually calls for a thinner 10-30 oil but my climate is very moderate.

Change the filter. Cheap, easy and worth every penny in the years to come.
DELO is very good oil.

Definitely change the filter too. In your location the 15w40 is a great choice, especially this time of year.

After doing several years of research and working every day with several ASE Certified Master Techs, I'm with you. It may not surprise you that many of the ASE Master Techs also moonlight fixing cars and setting up race cars. From my personal experience in race conditions and seeing abusive conditions, I'd rank Red Line, Royal Purple and Amsoil head and shoulders above any other oils available. Only Mobil comes close, but I wouldn't put it in the same league.

Personally I don't understand people who will spend thousands on an engine and then put the cheapest oil they can find and either put on a worthless Fram filter or not change the filter at all. Even if you drive an econo-box car or an off brand tractor, it's worth your trouble to at least protect what what you've spent. If you drive a high mileage car, an off brand car or tractor, I see even more of a reason to use quality oil.
