Where did you pull the power from for the lights Direct from the Battery? From the connections behind/below the seat? If so, did adding a fuse make those leads hot? What about a switch?

Thanks,

I had a more detailed post on the lights setup w/pics, will try to locate. I pulled power from the fuse box under the right side of the dash and located the switch on the lower right side(under hand throttle).

I thought about using one of the two power connections under rear cowling(under toolbox). One got hot with reverse and I can't remember why I didn't like the other one for the worklights......

Will try to dig up that old thread for the particulars(it might answer your questions better than my foggy brain this morn). ;)

edit; found one of the older threads for your reading pleasure.....

I am interested in your toolbox upgrade as I too would like to carry more than my gloves.I have some new ammo boxes but think I would like a stretched version and I have seen them. What are the dimensions of your new toolbox? Nice job on the lights and toolbox by the way. Eldon

It's an older style .30 cal ammo can w/built in lock hasp. Will post a couple close ups with measurements tomorrow if you like. I was going to go with a .50 cal can (I have plenty of both) but it did not fit in the original location w/o removing the SMV sign and allow the seat it's full range of motion. The stretched version of the slim .30 could probably work, if it's what I think it is(same width but longer in the hinge to latch dimension). I don't have one of those, but if it works I might have to track one down.......
