CK 20S Hard Start Fix

I got a call from my dealer roughly a month ago to let me know that the hard start fix was out and that they were waiting for parts. I inquired about the fix and was told that there are new glow plugs. That prompted me to tell them to ship and I'd install and I was promptly informed that the fix would entail combustion chamber (or glow plug chamber) modifications.

My questions are: Has anyone received the modification and if so, is what's stated above accurate? Also, was the fix effective?

There are actually (3) different modifications depending on the serial number of your tractor. KIOTI had made continuous improvements during production runs, so depending on your serial number, one of the 3 modifications would be required:

Kit Type 1: Includes minor combustion chamber modifications, Glow plugs, and Timer.

Kit Type 2: Includes Glow Plugs and Timer

Kit Type 3: Includes Timer

Your dealer can determine which kit is right for your tractor. All of the above modifications have a positive impact on starting.

If you fall under the kit 1
There are special tools needed to do the 3 hour job.
Best to let the dealer do it.

Wallace; Any chance there's a " hard cold start" fix for the 3054xs with the TD1400-B1. Ahhh, never mind, I know the answer already
