It had just started snowing when we went to bed christmas eve. Christmas day we awoke to a white blanket covering the ground.

I woke up to about 6 to 8 inches this morning. I dithered between using the B7500 w/fel or the case gt with snowblower. I decided to use the case. Glad I did because it was a killer snow. About an inch of slush under the snow and the rest the best packing snow for snowmen that I have seen in a long time. I pluged the blower more times this morning than I have in all the years that I have been blowing snow. I hope you have a great Christmas and a safe one.

Here on the Mass/Ct state lines we've been told consistently, 12 -18.. Heavy sleet though and only one inch. Maybe it will turn over later on.

Got about 8" (so far) in York County, PA.

Sure is blowing...

I thought about plowing...think I wait until it stops though.

Here's a pic of our cabin....

Coming down like gangbusters right now here in northern VT. The forecast said the worst of it would hit to our south and we would only get seven inches, but being at 1500' in the shadow of the highest mountain in the state, we tend to get a bit more than the weatherman promises. I just hope it doesn't bury my just refurbished bobsled run! /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

Roy,
Is your cabin a Kuhns brothers kit? Our next and last home I hope is a log home.

Sorry...don't know who built the kit. We bought it from the widow of the guy who built it.
I believe the company is in central PA though.

Log homes are cool looking, but they are a bit more maintenance then a house with siding or brick. I'd never heard of carpender bees until I lived in a log house!!!!

We had about 10 inches in northern Indiana overnight. It was wet heavy stuff. The kids went nuts. They really wanted a white Christmas and I wanted seta time. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

EDIT:
Yeah, seta time.... maybe "seat" time /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

Roy, how did the plowing go? I'm only a county away, and the 6 or so inches of snow we got was probably the worst consistency to work with I can remember. The stuff was so heavy and "packable" that I needed to use the FEL on a lot of it.................chim

The storm really fizzled by the time it reached us here in northern VT. We only got about 4-5 inches, but the wind was so strong it blew all of it into hollows like the road, driveway, and my precious bobsled run!

No sense trying to plow yet; snow is still streaking horizontally past my window.
