Here's something I've come up with but not sure exactly how to specify. If someone has a link to this it would be great.

I have a 40 gallon sprayer mounted on my UTV bed. The spray hose is just a coiled mess that winds up being strung out on the ground and has to be picked up everytime I move to a new spot. I'd like to mount a retractable hose on the unit - like a common retractable air hose.

I've seen some of these that say air/water retractable hose reel. They come with a 25 or 50 foot 3/8" hose. Is 3/8" right for a sprayer, or do I need 1/2"? My unit is out on the farm, so I can't measure at the moment. Harbor Freight has this for about $89. Thoughts????

Like a lot of you, I find it hard to make a gift list. I have everything I want, probably two of them. And what's left is too expensive to expect for a gift. I'd love a level action rifle or a Woolrich hunting coat but I can't expect people to shell out that much money. And while I appreciate pretty much anything someone thought to give me, what I really want in life is someone to handle a few things I can't get done. Like could someone take my car to the shop and get the broken speaker fixed? Could someone stain my deck? Etc. But I really think Christmas morning should be presents under the tree -- size and cost doesn't matter, its just the tradition of opening presents together that counts.

I had relatives that used to treat Christmas as an invitation to your credit cards. Like, hey, this year I'd like my kitchen painted, or I'd like bookshelves built in the den. I don't think that's in the spirit of the holiday.

But if you want to make me happy, wrap up a can of cashews -- simple and always welcome.

Yeah, I have a thought.... Harbor Freight!
OK, I'm sorry, but couldn't resist. I'd be leery of anything with metal, liquid and Harbor Freight. I'd guess it would rust quickly on a sprayer. I've got lots of things from them and some are good, but most are cheap. And the bigger the item it seems the cheaper they get. Also, it has a "great review" from Street Trucks Magazine.... they also reviewed my Harbor Freight air compressor and said it was powerful and very quiet.... its not powerful and its the loudest compressor I've ever heard, so Street Trucks Magazine has no credibility.
