I thought that this is a pretty good looking buck for these parts. I thought you would all enjoy a couple photos. He is very photogenic but doesn't like daylight. Maybe I can catch up with him sometime next season.

Yes, he's very photegenic. Lots of mass and width too!!! Looks like he's about peaked, and is probably either got another year at this level, or he'll start declining. Hard to imagine that he'll get much better, but then again, it would be nice to find out.

Is he on your land? Will you be out looking for his drops this spring? If you find one, start walking in a circle that gets wider every time you go around. Usually, the second drop is fairly close to the first one.

I once found a pair of verly large mule deer drops on a rock on the top of a mountain. They were on top of each other, and starting to turn white. Really impressive.

Thanks for sharing, I'd sure love to have a buck of that caliber on my land.

Wow what a beauty! Like Eddie said, very sturdy and thick. Lets hope his genes are spawning some more like him. Nice pics.
