Buying Advice CHOKE REPLACEMENT CABLE 1996 T5C

HEY, I'M LOOKING TO REPLACE MY CHOKE CABLE WITH ONE I CAN PULL OUT AND HAVE IT STAY PULLED ON.

I GUESS I COULD REMOVE THE ONE I HAVE AND GO TO NAPA WITH IT.

I WAS HOPING THAT THERE WAS A TRACTOR SITE YOU COULD BUY OEM PARTS.

ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Does it have a Kohler command engine?

I purchased a t5b with no engine last year and put a Kohler command in last year.

I ended up using
Scag Part# 482314 or 484106

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but it worked on an old t5b

You need the choke to stay out?
In most cases once the motor starts you can push it back in. If needing to keep the choke out, might need to get into the carb

I would like to replace my throttle cable to something better, and I like the old style lawn mower lever

I used a doorman 6’ universal control from amazon and cut it to length. It was like $6. I also replaced my throttle control with a venier style universal from amazon. Best upgrade yet because my old throttle liked to work it’s way in toward idle.
