hi there i recently purchased a simon A90 cherry picker which ran off a 24v powerpack there became a problem with it it wouldnt lift the basket with anyone in ! so i changed the batterys which made no difference i then stripped the powerpack down and found nothing so i decided to install a petrol driven pump as i had seen this system on a nifty lift i have used the exact same motor/pump etc as on the nifty lift but the engine keeps stalling when you operate a function i have good flow back to tank and i have stripped down the levers and these seem good too i have looked at the pipes in the end of the rams they have little dispersers in them i tryed removing those and it made it worse the nifty lift i saw working with this same system would easily lift 2 people on tickover with no affect to the engine mine you either have to have the revs really high but then the engine nearly stalls and the basket moves really rapidly can anyone help as i dont know where im going wrong thanks ryan

Hello
Have you checked the hoses?
Hold the hose in a bucket and activate the control.
If the hose liner is bad it should show up.
Pics would help a lot.

Put some hyd gages in the hyd system and check out the pressures.

Some reliefs may be stuck open.

The reliefs are probably on the lever valves.

Can you show pictures of the valve?
