Checking fluids on a new tractor is no joke!

Put me in the club that had low fluid in the front axle. I probably wouldn't have checked it except for a thread on here. It was low, but far from dry. I'm pretty sure it didn't hurt anything, but I feel better with it topped off.

Same thing here. Low but not empty. No apparent leaks. Wonder if the dealer removes the bleed plugs when topping off? Mine didn't appear to have been removed but hard to be sure.

Could this be the begining of the low front axle club? I've read the threads regarding the one flat tire, luckily mine hold air so far. I'm surprised at how many there are out there. Low fluid seems to be the trend.

Oh yeah. Definitely a new club.:D

JohnThomas' theory is that they have a stack of good tires and bad tires at the factory, or they did have at one time. Each BX must get just one of the bad tires.

My theory on the front axle might be that they just squirt enough sudt in there, when they are filling the transmission anyway, 'cause they got the gun in their hand, so why bother with anything else. It is also part of my conspiracy theory that they just put enough fluid there to lighten the load of shipping and to protect it. Why bother actually filling it? The dealers will top everything off when it gets there. Everybody knows the air trap prevent filling it in one try anyhow. So, there you have it. FWIW (with tongue firmly placed in cheek)
