Check Mate

My wife doesn't always consult me on matters that I think she should, but this time it worked out okay.

Whenever it's time to order new bank checks, we pretty much never agree on which free background to order. Try to imagine Tim The Tool Man Taylor "discussing" the choices with Jill, and you've got the picture. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

So this last time, she didn't even discuss it with me. Just went ahead and ordered them without my discerning input. Well, the new checks arrived today, and I'll have to say she did all right. See the top corner of the check in the attached picture.

Our 17th anniversary is coming up in a few weeks. Maybe I'll keep her after all. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hang onto your wife, she is a keeper. Mine doesn't seem to care about what the checks I order look like, all she cares about is that there is enough money in MY account to cover the ones she writes. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Harv congradulations on 17 years. My wife and I will hit 24 years this year. Wow

I read this article in our paper just last week where this couple has been now married for 70 years. He is 89 and she is 86 and he is just been moved to a senior living facility. She comes and visits with him everyday. Wow how much do I want to make 70 years with my wife. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

MURPH: me and the bride celebrated our 40th this past oct. know what? the time goes fast! don't want to sound like a preacher here, but it is the little things tha make a marriage strong and lasting, like HARV'S wife putting a tractor on their checks, she probably did that cause she knows how important that tractor is to the HARV. off the soap box now /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We hit our 40 years oct 10th this year, seems like it was only 4 years. If we can make it to 50 I think the marriage might work out.
