Somehow this never came up but do you check the trans fluid on a B7800 with the machine warmed up or cold?
When cold mine is low but warmed up is closer to the operating level.
Thanks.

The hydraulic fluid level in my machine is about the same regardless of temperature. It is however effected by the position of the loader and the 3pt hitch. If either one is up the fluid level goes down. Also when you first pull the stick nothing registers and then when you put it back in a second later and look again it will (should) show fluid level.

Yes, that is exactly the situation.
I check it and low, check again and OK.

Nature of the beast. Don't know why though.
