Changing hydraulic fluid

Used a couple of old pans I had lying around, buttoned everything back up and noticed two black washers in the pan.....I fear these go on the two side plugs but before dropping the plugs to install them would like a confirmation. They could be from some old project but I'm doubting the coincidence that I found two of them.
