OK...I give up. I've had my 2538 for 6+ months now, and still have a helluva time changing gears from L to M to H.
Whats the trick? I've reduced the RPM to minimum, no luck. Held the brake pedals while trying to shift, no luck. Tried to move slowly forward and backward, no luck. It still takes 10 tries to move the lever to a different gear ratio. Seems like it's stuck in whatever gear (L,M,H) it's in. When the gear shift does move, it goes from one extreme to another. Getting it to stop at Mid range is worse odds than going to Vegas...:confused3:
