Tires Changing B21 front tires Question?

Putting on new front tires on my B21 and noticed that they have tubes. Can I install tubeless tires or are tubes required? I like the benefit of using a plug kit to repair leaks like in the rear tires.

Check they tires and see if they are tubeless tires. Someone may have installed tubes in them. If I recall, a tubeless rim is different from a tube type but if the tires on it came as tubeless, then I would say you could use tubeless tires are what is the OEM tire. The tires on my B26 are tubeless front and rear.

It appears they were tubeless tires with tube installed. Does anyone know if you need the threaded with nut air valve or is a standard rubber stem ok?

I would use the valve stem with threads and nut so when you get the front wheels in someplace it will not just pull the valve stems out or cut them like it would regular ones.

Buy my BX and you get tubes. That was the only way to keep air in them working in the woods and uneven rocky terrain like I do.
