Change user name or unregister?

My user name is stupid--I mistakenly typed a space when registering and now it's permanently set to be Johnb ro. Yuck. Is there a way to change it or unregister so I can re-register without having to get a different email address?

I think if you send Muhammad a PM he can change it for you. There was another thread here a while back where people had their user names changed, so it is do-able.
