Change glow plug in F1435

I am suspecting that my glow plug (S) may not be working. When I turn the key the light works and goes off but it doesn't start easily. When its warm outside it starts fine. I am thinking of putting in a glow plug. How many are on a f1435 anyone know? 1 per cylinder or 1 per mower? How hard are they to put on? I did order the service manual a little bit ago so if I wait I can see what that has to say but thought I would check the group to see if anyone has any input.
