I have a 2003 Challenger MT 265. When I turn the key to "glow" the engine the fuse right above the battery keeps blowing. I check all the wires for issues, there seems to be none. All tight and secure. Anbody have any ideas?
If it only blows the fuse on "glow" maybe it's a shorted glow plug. Remove the wires from the glow plugs and check the resistance from the terminal to the block. With the wires disconnected from the glow plugs does it still blow the fuse? If one of the plugs has very low resistance, it's the shorted one. Hook the other ones back up and see if it will glow and start without blowing the fuse.
