I finally took some photos of the chainsaw holder that I have mounted to the FEL post on my new Montana. I fabricated it out of aluminum L channel and plastic from a kitchen cutting board. The saw is now always in an out of the way, easy to reach location. It does not rattle at all and the cutting teeth are well protected. Greg

Hello
The unit is mounted using (6) 2 1/2" x 1/8" stainless bolts which go through the aluminum, then plastic, and spacers on the back side. I drilled through the frame and put nuts on the back where I could access and tapped the ones I could not access. Greg

Greg, that is a great idea !! I just was thinking about that today, but I think I will go 1 step further and add a stepdown slot because I have 2 saws I use at the same time(smaller). The other side will have a chain holder I saw in another thread. Thanks for posting pics!
