Chains -where to put them

Thanks for the compliments. Cab is in progress, don't have a shop to work in yet so will finish next spring with doors and filling in the front.

I've been told many times where to "put" many different items...... (snicker)
Tractor tire chains not being one.......

I go with the rear chains only group.......
Reasons being, I have an older JD855 (1987) with loaded turfs. Don't want unnecessary stress on the front wheel drive.
Two link ladder chains work really well for me with my equipment, terrain, and needs all considered.

Good luck

I have rear chains only and steer with the brakes when needed. I can't say I've needed any more traction. My advice is start there and if you really need them then get front chains later.
