Here is a picture of it being test run. It's now in the process of testing different chain grinds!!!

Gordon, that looks like quite a machine. A couple of times I've seen some logger's competitions on TV where they had big, customized, high powered saws just cutting down one stroke and up with the next like a hot knife through butter. I not only wouldn't want to use one; I wouldn't want to be standing within 100 ft. when someone else was using it. Heck, I'm even scared of my little Poulan.

The muffler also acts as a great felling guide, too - it's just a little crooked.
Actually, I'm interested in getting one of those Husky's to play with. I'd like to compare it stock-for-stock with my Stihl 044, then start tweaking it.
Do you think a tweaked 272 would power a .404 chain in hardwood?

When going full throttle how does one balance the engine so it doesn't pull to one side?
I take it the boiler room has $$$ in engine parts do to the tune muffler??
Hope the gentleman got his ear plugs.
I like all of his toys in the picture /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gifand does that Case have a plow on her?

The backhoe in the photo, the paint as far as I can tell, would seem to mimick my Brutus, though Brutus might be a tad, shall I say, more seasoned. Would you consider that machine "beat up", "normal" or even "great" condition given what it has been through? (I'm STRICTLY referring to paint job ONLY)
What kind of impact (if any) would you suspect that could have on resale if/when that machine was to be sold?
