This is the second spring I have seen it here. I was able to sneak up to about 10 ft from it for the last picture. I have two areas on my property with some dirt piles but it prefers the cement instead.

My neighbor accross the street at my office has a stack of telephone poles and and a lush green yard. The groundhogs prefer creosote over clover. It cracks me up every time I see them in, on and under the poles. They are fun to watch as long as they are not in my yard. Nice photos.

I like watching them play too. They have a pretty good path warn from the cement pile to the ditch at the front of my property plus they help keep the grass down around the pile. The hogs don't bother me or my neighbours so I just let them be. Unfortunately they are going to be evicted when I start putting down the rest of my driveway. I plan to use that cement to make the base for my driveway.
