Cement Wheel Weights Update

A while back a guy was trying to put some he made into his wheels, never did find out if he got them in. After seeing that post I though I would give it a shot. Here are some pictures and tomorrow night I well have some pictures of how I did it.

Each wheel is right at 80lbs, had to take a little back out of a 80 lb mix. I have rebar in them and that is why I said right at. This is my B7800.
I got it made so it should come out if ever need to. The tire can be changed without taking it out, in most cases. The 2 holes with the paper in them are for lifting rings. I well paint them after the cement gets all set up. People say cement shrinks up after it's all set up, I guess I well find out.

OP, are your tires filled or is the cement the only ballast? Do you have anything securing the cement to the wheel? I would think after a little bit that the cement would work loose and banging around inside the wheel a bit???

RedNeckRacin My tires are loaded as you can see by the new pictures how I hold them in. Don't know if they well work loose yet only time well tell.

Yep, cement, or conc., will shrink, and I am curious how you will keep them attached to the wheels?

I think there is a piece of threaded rod going through the three holes and welded to the rebar. Still a lot of work for about 80 lbs.
