How do you caulk something when the spout on the caulk tube is to short to reach the area that needs caulked?
*Thanks.*You can fit a small plastic tube over the spout in the length you need.
* I thot about using a small hose clamp with what ever I use for a spout extension.I had the same problem. Went to the "Dollar Store" or someplace like that, and bought a package of novelty-type drinking straws. These things are about 3/8" diameter, plastic and about 10" long. They also have a ribbed flexible portion so they can be bent. I think these were in with the Valentine's Day stuff. May have similar at WalMart. *Then, duct taped the straw to the caulk tube spout.
Sounds like the ticket.Something like this?
