CAT 428 Backhoe Side shift stuck

I have recently acquired a 428 Cat Backhoe for my small farm I needed to shift the boom to the other side to dig beside a fence and discovered the foot control that releases the locking cylinders is jammed rock solid further investigation revealed the rubber boot between the cab and control valve was full of water (it had a broken window when I bought it) .I can see no obvious way that the control valve attaches to the frame and cant figger out how to remove it.I am hoping someone has some done this before and can tell me how to get it off.

It appears you got one of the bolts out but it looks like there is another on the other side?

I thought there should be one too and even double checked after I saw your post but there is nothing on the otherside.

I turns out the other bolt was inside the rubber boot and is severely rusted getting it out is proving to be the next problem.

PB Blaster and let it soak.
Worse case the bolt might break off and have to drill and tap it, but at least it will be accessible then.

It came off ok with a mini hacksaw and a big hammer . I managed to free the valve up but it looks if I have damaged a seal in the process as it is now weeping but at least it all moves now.
