Can someone tell me the meaning of the casting numbers "5 29 K" found on the block and head of a Farmall H. I seem to recall that the digits represent the month and day of the casting and the letter the year.
The serial number on the chassis is in the 26xxx range indicating 1940 manufacture. However, I think the engine was changed and it's serial number is OHM 1695.
