I don't think you will find any complaints. Most of the people I know that have them like them. But as a suggestion maybe post this in the New Holland Section. Same tractor but more people have them. You will get more answers there I think.

I have a DX 35 with 70 hours. No complaints so far. This is my fourth tractor over the last 30 years and the most comfortable (for me) of all I have owned or driven.

One would think they would be the same price but I think if you do some searching here on TBN you will find that they may not be. Just check both places for pricing. Underneath the hood they are the same. Lights and color are the only different and New Holland gives you the option of Super-Steer if you want it. Case does not have the super-sterr option.

I have a DX45, my brothers have a D35 and D40. There is 720 hours on the DX45, and over 300 on the D40. The DX45 just needed a battery (4 years old, and a roll pin came out of the shift linkage on the D40, but otherwise they have been trouble free. If you want a Hydro (DX model), you get the deluxe package including the tilt telescoping steering wheel and the suspension seat with swivel. My brother upgraded his D40 with a right hand step, a chain box, remote control radio. If you are getting a loader, consider getting the quick coupler bucket. You can use skid steer compatable pallet forks or anything else from skid steers the tractor will handle. The DX35 has the same wheelbase as the larger models, but uses a 3 cylinder engine and a lower pressure hydraulic system so both the loader and hitch lift 200 lbs less than the 40 or 45. If you are loading heavy gravel with the 72" quick coupler bucket you are at max capacity with the 40/45.

Hope this helps.
