Case Skid Loader

I just talked to a contractor I work with about his Case skid Loader. He is trading it in. I don't know the model, but it is pretty good size and has about 450 hrs on it. He has used it himself. I know how it was treated. He told me they allowed him 14K trade in on a new Bobcat. That seems cheap to me. Do I want to make an offer?

That says to me that they'll steam clean and paint it, and put it up for $20k.

That is what I am thinking. It doesn't even need steam cleaning. I plan to see him tomorrow. I'll get more info.
